ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY FACTORS

The Bloc Shop strives to create a healthy relationship with the environment. The ottoman is constructed with an interchangeable cover to protect the folded up mattress. Our materials are up-cycled from local companies' fabric offcuts. Factoring to reduce landfill rates by 2000L each month with a simple up-cycled cover feature to the bloc.

CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS

The Bloc is constructed with a three-piece fold-out mattress that unfolds into a single mattress when the cover is removed.The mattress is composed of polyurethane foam, the same material that the common mattress uses. The foam is protected by a standard inner cover that keeps the 3 foam sheets together and protected.

The outer covers that are available in Cord Velour, Velvet, Flokati Fur, and Jumbo Cord are up-cycled premium quality covers that are machine washable. These covers can be purchased separately so that you, as the customer, can change up your seasonal home appearance.

MACHINE WASHABLE

It's always a delight to come home from a long day and kick your feet up. The problem is when your shoes carry the dirt from your day-to-day outings, which finds itself absorbed into your footrest. Don’t fear the dirt or stains from someone spilling their drink as our covers are machine washable and guaranteed not to shrink or degrade the quality of the fabric. Please note that we do not advise tumble-drying your cover.
